ARETE 2000 was founded in 1994 by a group of former teachers - Teodora Stoyanova, Vanya Nikolova and Ina Tsvetkova. Like many other educators and thoughtful people of that time, they carried their experience and inner discipline from the classroom into life beyond it, creating not simply a company, but an environment built on trust and care.

The name “ARETE”, taken from ancient Greek philosophy, carries within it the idea of virtue, the pursuit of inner refinement and integrity - not as a means, but as an end in itself.

An interesting detail in this enduring family identity is the fact that ARETE 2000 also shares one roof with Teodora Stoyanova’s husband and Radi Stoyanov’s father - Lyudmil Stoyanov, who, through his company ARETE BIURO POLIGRAF, conducts private polygraph examinations. Two different activities, yet united by the same quiet determination to work honestly, thoroughly and responsibly with human trust.
